3-6-5 and counting...

We went to Hawaii in November as an early anniversary celebration, so our actual anniversary (January 12) was little low-key. Devon took me to Tepanyaki and we had an awesome dinner. I just love their noodles and filet mignon! I thought we weren't getting each other presents because of our big Hawaii trip, but Devon surprised me with a beautiful pearl necklace and earrings set. I felt bad because I didn't get him anything so I just gave him a really good massage for as long as he wanted. Here are some pictures of us after dinner. I'm wearing my pretty new jewelry.

New Year's in California

We drove down to California for New Year's and spent the weekend with Devon's family as well as my family (they were all staying in Corona). It was fun to see old friends that we don't get to spend time with except for once a year or so. Here are some pictures of our fun weekend... oh, and we also went bouldering!

Tumbling Gym

We went to the tumbling gym in Springville with the Glassman's, Draper's and Ellis'. Talk about a good time! I wish I had more pictures...I thought i did...these don't even do it justice. We put Cammie in this huge hamster-wheel-like blow up toy and rolled her around. We were all busting up. It was hilarious!

Happy Holidays

The Holidays were so much fun! We loved being able to spend the season with both sides of our families. We had a great time together laughing and reminiscing. Here are some pictures of the fun!

We spent Christmas Eve at Tamara and James' house. Tamara always gets me with her goodies. I think I gained like five pounds that night. Granny threw up the bunny ears on Dad. I just love here sense of humor!
On our way to Grandma's on Christmas morning we drove into a bank of about 4 feet of snow. It was a white Christmas for sure. Everything was white so we had no depth perception. Anyway, Devon was a one man show trying to dig us out, but then two very nice charitable guys helped dig us out with their shovels...on Christmas morning!
My favorite presents from Devon: my new work out pants and running shoes, my jewelry box, and my new sprayer attachment on the kitchen faucet!

I don't know what Devon's favorite gifts were...maybe this rad rubber glove with eyeballs that Riley got him!
Or maybe all his favorite candy...
Or maybe this posh cartigan my parents got him. Funny thing is, I didn't think he was going to like it so I tried to prepare my parents for Devon wanting to return/exchange it. Devon actually ended up returning the cartigan I got him and loving this cartigan my parents got him!
We gave Riley this very inexpensive video camera and he was so cute walking around with it all morning taking video and pictures of everyone. He had Mom hold it for him because he wasn't sure he could take good care of it. I love this kid!
Granny got a wedding album from my parents like the one we got them. I think she really liked it. There were some sweet pictures of Grandma and Grandpa in the wedding album. Grandpa recently passed away in November so I think it's a gift Grandma will really cherish. We miss Grandpa and his funny jokes and entertaining comments.
We're so grateful for the plan of salvation and the knowledge we have that we'll be together with our family forever. The holidays remind us of this special gift.
