Some Recent Firsts

Here are a couple pictures of our new place from when we FIRST moved in. It's a bit cleaner now, so come visit us! Our door is open! (well it is actually closed to keep out the cold air and the bugs. <--Devon wrote that)
Joni & Rocky Wright and Phil & Noelle Bastian came over for dinner... and Joni had ribs for the FIRST time! She said she liked it... do you think she was just being nice?

Handsome little James.

Noelle with her little cutie, Jacob
Our FIRST walk in Ohio with Dave & Steph Jump and Josh & Krystal Muir at Antrim Park in Columbus. This tree had shoes in it. I still don't know why.
Dave peeling his hand-picked apple
Pretty fall leaves
Devon split an apple with his bare hands for the FIRST time--thanks to the expertise of Dave and Josh. I think he's proud. I sure was. That is manly stuff right there.
Made apple pie from scratch for the FIRST time.
Mmmmm delicious!
Devon's hair got this long for the FIRST time (we think)... and is getting longer yet (no plans to get it cut at this point)
We went climbing down at the Audobon Metro Park for the FIRST time. It's FREE!!

Hola and we love you to our family and friends in these states (and any others I may have forgotten to mention): North Carolina, California, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Florida, Nebraska, and now, Ohio!

I loved our autumn walk. We'll have to talk the boys into doing another one so we can take "family pictures". ;) Thanks for staying up late to make, and eat, the apple pie. I like how, in that picture, Bigz is scavanging for food we may have dropped. :)
